Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Developer to join our team at Micron Technology. As a key member of our IT Salesforce team, you will play a critical role in driving business impact projects and delivering high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive high business impact projects by coordinating and identifying solutions for multi-functional enterprise systems with multiple parties/interests and integration with other systems
  • Use strategic objectives to help establish functional objectives that will have a significant impact on the success of the most critical technical initiatives and help craft technological solutions for the future
  • Independently lead and successfully deliver project engagements through hands-on design, development, testing and solutions deployment
  • Lead the development lifecycle to ensure the delivery of highly secure solutions optimized for performance and built to scale
  • Collaborate with various internal departments, including sales, marketing, legal, and global quality to ensure our Salesforce environment supports all internal needs relating to functionality and performance
  • Seek ways to use Salesforce to improve processes and efficiency for all users

Key Expectations:

  • Serve alongside our solution architects as a technical and functional authority for Salesforce and Salesforce integrations within Micron
  • Actively participate in long-range planning to identify, address, and help others address, business inefficiencies
  • Collaborate with distributed team members and co-workers, mentoring and guiding them in areas of CI/CD, agile methodologies and development operation standards
  • Ensure solution releases meet the highest standard in terms of end user experience and performance. Focus on quality and innovation to build a great user experience
  • Proactively gets in touch with industry or vendor contacts and understands standard processes and outstanding solutions while aligning with internal Micron standards
  • Demonstrate Micron core values of people, innovation, tenacity, collaboration, and customer centric

Requirements:

  • Candidates should have 5+ years of enterprise level Salesforce design and development experience including extensive work with systems integrations
  • Candidates should possess excellent problem solving, leadership and communication skills
  • Extensive experience within all core Salesforce clouds (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Community Cloud) and excellent knowledge of Salesforce architecture and data modeling
  • Extensive experience with enterprise integration tools (REST/SOAP APIs, Salesforce Connect, middleware)
  • Experience working alongside customers in requirements capturing leading to proven technical solution designs in accordance with standard methodologies
  • Background in project management and business analysis
  • Ability to write, interpret, and critique technical specifications
  • Ability to work independently to deliver project landmarks complete and on time
  • Comfortable with mentoring and leading junior developers through agile scrum team process
  • Experience with development ops and continuous integration and continuous delivery/deployment tools (CI/CD)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with predictive and generative AI solutions
  • Experience with CI/CD tool: Copado
  • Experience with dev ops tools: JIRA, ADO
  • Experience with Salesforce CPQ (formerly Steelbrick)
  • Experience with Conga Contract Lifecycle Management

Education:

  • Completed a four-year degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems or a related field
  • Salesforce Platform App Builder, Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II Certifications
