Role ResponsibilitiesAs a Culinary Operations Supervisor, your daily focus will be on maintaining excellence in our kitchen. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing the Supreme Dumplings dining experience by:
- Welcoming guests and overseeing daily kitchen operations to ensure the highest quality of dumpling dishes.
- Leading and mentoring Back of House team members, including Cooks, Prep Cooks, and Dishwashers.
- Providing support and guidance to ensure compliance with food quality standards, safety protocols, and customer service excellence.
- Motivating your team during peak hours, resolving conflicts, and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Quickly addressing issues such as employee disputes, customer feedback, equipment failures, and supply orders.
- Managing inventory and purchasing food supplies to meet production demands.
- Communicating effectively with Front of House staff and management.
- Maintaining accurate records and completing necessary reports using digital tools.
- Recruiting, training, and developing new Back of House team members.
- Training kitchen staff on various stations to ensure productivity and adherence to labor budgets.
- Keeping the kitchen clean, organized, and welcoming for guests.
- Conducting daily quality checks to uphold high standards.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Possession of a valid Food Handlers Card.
- ServSafe certification is advantageous.
- Familiarity with dumpling production and food safety standards.
- Ability to analyze reports related to food costs and labor.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Flexibility in scheduling.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment.
- Commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
- Strong leadership and growth-promoting skills.
- Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
Compensation: $25 - $28 per hour
