Aviation Safety Inspector

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is seeking a highly skilled Aviation Safety Inspector to join our team. As an Aviation Safety Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of air carriers and their operations.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct surveillance and inspections of air carriers to ensure compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs)
- Investigate accidents and incidents involving air carriers
- Develop and implement safety programs and procedures to prevent accidents and incidents
- Collaborate with air carriers, industry stakeholders, and other government agencies to promote safety and compliance
- Provide technical assistance and guidance to air carriers on safety-related matters
- Must have a valid Airline Transport Pilot Certificate
- Must have at least 1,500 hours of flight time
- Must have at least 3 years of experience working in an organization with an air carrier, commercial operator, or air agency certificate
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Experience in aviation safety or a related field
- Knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and industry standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
