Key Responsibilities- Conduct surveillance of air carriers to ensure compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs)
- Investigate accidents and incidents to determine their causes and make recommendations for improvement
- Develop and implement safety programs to prevent accidents and incidents
- Collaborate with air carriers, airports, and other stakeholders to ensure safe operations
- Provide technical assistance and guidance to air carriers and other stakeholders on safety-related matters
- At least 1 year of experience in air carrier operations or a related field
- Knowledge of FARs and other relevant regulations
- Ability to communicate effectively with air carriers, airports, and other stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
This position requires frequent travel to air carrier facilities and airports. The selected candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
