Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Multifamily Property Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in multifamily property management, hiring, training, and coaching teams, as well as solid business acumen with experience owning and driving P&L's.

Key Responsibilities
  • Increase property revenue by building a high-performing team with strengths in sales and service.
  • Assess, train, and develop your team on salesmanship and operational best practices.
  • Build strong relationships with maintenance professionals to ensure your property presents as best in class.
  • Be accessible to the needs of the community, including nights and weekends if required.
  • Be willing to put the team first and assist at multiple locations when needed.
Client/Owner Relationship Management

Assist in managing the client/owner relationship by meeting with owners, conducting community tours, providing updates and information about the community's performance, and responding to owner requests as needed.

Resident Satisfaction and Retention

Promote resident satisfaction and retention by responding to complaints, questions, and requests in a timely manner and taking appropriate action to resolve and address service issues.

Eviction Procedures

Follow the company's established procedures related to evictions by following proper notice requirements, evicting residents, and representing the community as required in court hearings and eviction proceedings.

Additional Responsibilities
  • Organize and participate in the daily huddle to discuss company virtues, business goals, wins, and teammate success stories.
  • Complete the budget strategy workbook and the first draft of the annual operating budget for the property.
  • Gather, analyze, and interpret current market and economic trends that may impact the property and implement short- and long-range marketing and leasing strategies to achieve the property's occupancy and revenue goals.
  • Conduct regular property inspections and take appropriate action to ensure that the physical aspects of the property, grounds, buildings, and amenities meet established standards for safety, cleanliness, and general appearance and appeal.
  • Complete all required training to ensure knowledge of the role is current and in accordance with the company's standards, policies, and procedures.
Requirements
  • 3 years in multifamily property management
  • 3 years of hiring, training, and coaching teams
  • Solid business acumen with experience owning and driving P&L's
  • A college degree is preferred
