We offer innovative programming in the form of eating disorder services and a geriatric mood and memory clinic, which is involved in multiple clinical trials for promising Alzheimer's medications.
Job Description
As a Psychiatric Technician I, you will be responsible for providing therapeutic care to patients with mental illness, substance use disorders, and intellectual disorders. This includes monitoring patients' physical and emotional well-being, responding to patient needs, and functioning within the patient care team to ensure successful treatment and stabilization.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor patients' physical and emotional well-being and report changes in behavior or physical ailments to professional staff
* Respond to patient needs taking into consideration developmental stage and psychiatric symptoms
* Maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients, complying with Northern Light Health policies and procedures
* Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team to deliver high-quality patient care
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have a High School Diploma/General Educational Development (GED) and relevant experience working in a behavioral health setting. You should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
