Job Summary:
Are you looking for a rewarding career in mental health? We are seeking a skilled Psychiatric Technician I to join our team at Northern Light Acadia Hospital. As a Psychiatric Technician I, you will play a vital role in providing therapeutic care to individuals with mental illness, substance use disorders, and intellectual disorders.

In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for monitoring patients' physical and emotional well-being, responding to patient needs, and maintaining a safe environment. You will also work closely with patients to assist them with activities of daily living, including personal care, and aid in recovery with a focus on social, emotional, and physical wellbeing.

This is a full-time position working 36 hours per week, with a shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, based on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, you will have access to ongoing training and education to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements include a High School Diploma/General Educational Development (GED) and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate emotional intelligence, accountability, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
