Senior Manager Production Lead

Caterpillar is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager Production to join our team in Corinth, Mississippi. As a key member of our Remanufacturing Division, you will be responsible for leading the Engine Assembly Operations at Cardinal Drive, ensuring the production requirements are met while maintaining cost and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement plans for efficient use of materials, machines, and manpower to achieve safety, manufacturing cost, quality, and inventory management targets.
- Monitor customer delivery performance, cost reduction programs, lead-time improvements, and quality improvement projects to enhance customer value and business unit results.
- Establish cost and quality goals and ensure the efficient integration of factory, logistics, maintenance, and quality to achieve targets for assigned areas.
- Ensure proper direction and supervision of activities in assigned areas to maintain effective utilization of personnel and machinery.
- Determine needs and coordinate actions required to maintain standards of efficiency, quality, and safety in areas supervised.
- Implement various corporate initiatives such as 5S, Lean Manufacturing, 6 Sigma, Internal Certification, etc.
- Promote development of people through continued education, employee involvement, increased responsibility, and ergonomics.
- Thorough knowledge of CPS processes and tools, manufacturing operations, and general knowledge of related areas.
- Previous supervision or project leadership experience is required.
- Solid human relations skills are required to develop a cooperative work relationship with others inside and outside the department.
