Overview:
The Senior Sales Executive for Medicare Programs plays a crucial role in educating community members about various Medicare Advantage Plans (MAP), Medicare Advantage Plans with Drug Coverage (MAPD), and Dual Special Needs Plans (DSNP) offered by VNS Health. This position is vital in helping individuals understand the advantages of enrolling in these health plans.
Compensation:
Annual salary ranges from $77,000 to $96,500.

Key Responsibilities:
- Establishes and nurtures effective partnerships with Community-Based Organizations (CBOs), healthcare providers, faith-based groups, and other relevant entities to generate leads, enhance brand visibility, and facilitate member enrollment.
- Meets and exceeds monthly and annual membership targets.
- Conducts all activities in compliance with CMS regulations, adhering to all guidelines and staying informed about new marketing policies.
- Provides direct educational outreach to consumers regarding VNS Health's MAP, MAPD, and DSNP offerings.
- Implements retention strategies developed by leadership to minimize member attrition.
- Travels across various regions to promote VNS Health's Medicare programs.
- Engages in special projects and performs additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Licenses and Certifications:
- Required: NYS Accident and Health Insurance License
- Preferred: Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for travel across all boroughs.
Education:
- Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree.
Experience:
- Required: Minimum of four years in managed Medicare, Medicaid, life insurance, or relevant sales experience involving premium collection during initial sales, OR at least two years in a related department at VNS CHOICE.
- Required: Experience marketing to a diverse population.
- Required: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking proficiency.
- Required: Strong organizational abilities.
- Required: Established relationships with key referral sources.
- Preferred: Bilingual skills.
