Job Title: Regional Sales Manager - Industrial Equipment

Michael Page is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our team in Richmond, VA.

About the Role:

We are looking for a sales professional with a proven track record of success in industrial sales to lead our team in the Richmond area. As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing territory sales plans to achieve revenue targets and growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute territory sales plans to achieve revenue targets and growth objectives.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, understanding their needs and providing solutions to meet them.
  • Conduct regular visits to customer sites, delivering presentations and product demonstrations as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales support, marketing, and product development, to ensure customer satisfaction and drive business growth.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports on sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field.
  • Proven track record of success in sales.
  • Minimum of 3 years of industrial sales experience preferably in equipment.
  • Strong understanding of sales principles and techniques, including prospecting, negotiation, and closing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with customers.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to travel within the assigned territory as needed.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
