Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Data and Communication Wire Installation Specialist to join our team at the Alaska Teacher Placement. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for installing data and communication wire from network closets to various locations in schools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install data and communication wire from network closets to various locations in schools
  • Work well with others to ensure efficient and safe installation
  • Ability to work at heights and maintain a high level of safety consciousness
  • Ability to make simple mathematical calculations and read blueprints
  • Valid Alaska Driver's License and ability to obtain a pass to Fort Wainwright and Eielson Air Force Base
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • High school level math skills
  • Ability to read, speak, and understand the English language
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well with others and maintain a high level of safety consciousness
