Job Title: Supervisor - Part-Time

Barnes & Noble College is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Part-Time Supervisor. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, leading by example, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide outstanding customer service and support to customers, including answering questions, resolving issues, and making recommendations.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic, and setting a positive tone for the team.
  • Assist with training and development of team members, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Monitor and maintain store operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and loss prevention.
  • Collaborate with the management team to achieve sales goals, manage inventory, and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in a retail or customer-facing role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Basic reading, writing, and accounting skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
