Engage in marketing efforts to both new and existing clients to secure additional business and align with the company's strategic goals.

Act as the client manager for your discipline while marketing for other areas.

May develop Project Work Plans (including Quality Plans) in collaboration with the project team, including quality reviewers.

Prepare proposals (including assumptions, scope of work, budget, etc.) as necessary.

Draft and negotiate project contracts, terms, and conditions as appropriate.

Review invoice charges for accuracy concerning billed hours.

Coordinate customer billing and invoicing with the Accounting Department.

Generate monthly financial reports (project percent complete, etc.).

May provide direct oversight to staff, including goal setting, evaluations, and professional development.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering.

10+ years of experience in Railroad Bridge and Track Design.

Prior experience in business development, client relations, and mentoring junior staff is highly preferred.

Experience with Microstation, including InRoads and OpenRoads, as well as AutoCAD, is required.

A Professional Engineering license is strongly preferred; all candidates should be eligible for licensure.

Ability to read, write, and comprehend English for understanding written job-related communications and verbal instructions.
