Agency Overview: The DHS seeks individuals committed to safeguarding American interests and ensuring national security. DHS Components collaborate to prevent terrorism, secure borders, protect dignitaries, enforce immigration laws, safeguard cyberspace, and enhance disaster resilience. The DHS Joint Duty Program (JDP) provides professional and developmental opportunities for civilian personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
- This reimbursable Joint Duty Assignment (JDA) opportunity is situated within the DHS, Office of Strategy, Policy, and Plans (PLCY), specifically within the Office of Trade & Economic Security (TES). The primary function of this position is to act as a Policy Analyst in the domains of national and economic security, encompassing foreign investment risk management, critical infrastructure protection, and the development of economic security and supply chain resilience policies. This is a hybrid role, allowing for telework up to 60% of the time, subject to mission requirements, but candidates must be located in the National Capital Region to attend necessary meetings and review classified materials.
Educational Requirements: There is no educational substitution for this position.
