POSITION SUMMARY: The Contact Center Representative plays a crucial role in addressing member inquiries through various communication channels, including phone, email, and chat. This position leverages technical expertise and product knowledge to resolve issues, provide assistance, and enhance the overall member experience.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as the initial point of contact for members via phone or electronic messaging, establishing rapport and addressing inquiries accurately.
  • Handle a variety of inquiries, including account details, transaction requests, and online banking support.
  • Utilize sound judgment and troubleshooting skills to assist members effectively.
  • Identify opportunities to introduce relevant products and services to support members' financial needs.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all products and services offered by the organization.
  • Efficiently manage time to ensure high-quality service and member satisfaction.
  • Safeguard sensitive information by verifying caller identity through various methods.
  • Assist with online banking access and troubleshoot related issues.
  • Support the lending department by processing loan applications.
  • Investigate and resolve ACH-related issues.
  • Assist management with operational tasks related to the Contact Center.
  • Follow up on member-related issues as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in customer service within a financial institution; a combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Knowledge of compliance regulations and organizational policies.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with general office technology.
  • Basic math skills and a professional demeanor.
  • Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
