Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and visitors, answer phone calls, and respond to emails in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Manage front office processes, including scheduling appointments, checking patients in and out, and collecting co-pays.
  • Verify patient demographics and insurance information, and update electronic records as needed.
  • Assist with referral processing, scheduling, and charge entry.
  • Collect and post charges, and process patient balances.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; medical office assistant program preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in a medical office setting.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
