Technical Services Manager Role

As a Technical Services Manager at Safety National, you will oversee the development, testing, and maintenance of the software systems that power our operations.

You will guide a talented team through exciting technical challenges while mentoring and fostering their growth. You will have the opportunity to cultivate a high-performing and collaborative work environment that pushes the boundaries of what's possible.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of technical professionals in the development, testing, and maintenance of software systems.
  • Collaborate with the IT department to identify and address system defects, implement enhancements, and ensure that all software changes are smooth, efficient, and designed with the user in mind.
  • Develop and implement automated solutions that make a real difference in our day-to-day operations.
  • Engage with multiple departments, including IT, Underwriting, and Claims, to ensure that the technical side of things supports business goals.
  • Partner with Insurance Operations management and drive innovation company-wide.
  • Help shape learning and training initiatives, ensuring that everyone stays at the top of their game.

Requirements:

  • Detail-oriented problem solver with excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Preferred qualifications include 1 year of supervisory or management experience and experience or certifications in SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework for Enterprise) and a background in the insurance industry.

Safety National is committed to fair, transparent pay and strives to provide competitive, market-based compensation. The target salary range for this position is $73,000 to $117,000. Compensation for the successful candidate will consider the candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, and geographic location.
