Job Title: Strategic Accounts Development Representative

Job Summary:

The Strategic Accounts Development Representative will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with AOA's Elite Customers. As the primary contact for our Elite accounts, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with said accounts through delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that our clients remain satisfied with our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop relationships with key decision makers within existing Elite accounts like Orthodontists, Practice Managers, and Lab Assistants.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing Elite accounts.
  • Onboard new elite accounts and DSOs through leads and communication with Ormco Field Representatives.
  • Understand and stay current with industry trends and the competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate with AOA's Sales Support Specialist to ensure customers needs are met.
  • Conduct regular communication and have updated sales projections with the Sales and Marketing Manager.
  • Conduct monthly funnel reviews with Ormco Field Representatives.
  • Attend regional and national sales and industry meetings when necessary.
  • Travel to Customers and potential Customers to onboard large opportunities if needed.
  • Present on Ormco regional calls on a monthly or quarterly basis.
Job Requirements:

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; we will also consider someone with at least 2+ years experience in the orthodontic industry.
  • 3+ years of experience in Sales, Account Management, Business Development or a Clinical role; dental or orthodontic industry experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to develop in-depth knowledge of the orthodontic industry including market trends, products and services etc.
  • Self-motivated, goal oriented and able to work independently.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • CRM experience preferred.
  • Oracle ERP experience is a plus.
Territory/Travel:
  • This position will be remotely based and requires travel to industry shows, lab visits for training, occasional visits to top customers and potential customers.
  • Annual travel expectations would be roughly 35%. You will be required to work closely with production, customer service and other sales team members to deliver exceptional service to our customers.
