Strategic Accounts Liaison

The Strategic Accounts Representative is a key role within our organization, responsible for fostering and maintaining strong relationships with our Elite Customers. As the primary point of contact, you will be instrumental in delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring our clients remain satisfied with our products and services. This role requires a deep understanding of the orthodontic industry, including market trends, products, and services.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers within existing Elite accounts, including Orthodontists, Practice Managers, and Lab Assistants.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing Elite accounts.
- Onboard new Elite accounts and DSOs through leads and communication with Ormco Field Representatives.
- Stay current with industry trends and the competitive landscape.
- Collaborate with AOA's Sales Support Specialist to ensure customer needs are met.
- Conduct regular communication and provide updated sales projections with the Sales and Marketing Manager.
- Conduct monthly funnel reviews with Ormco Field Representatives.
- Attend regional and national sales and industry meetings as necessary.
- Travel to Customers and potential Customers to onboard large opportunities if needed.
- Present on Ormco regional calls on a monthly or quarterly basis.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; we will also consider someone with at least 2+ years of experience in the orthodontic industry.
- 3+ years of experience in Sales, Account Management, Business Development, or a Clinical role; dental or orthodontic industry experience is a plus.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to develop in-depth knowledge of the orthodontic industry, including market trends, products, and services.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- CRM experience preferred.
- Oracle ERP experience is a plus.
- This position will be remotely based and requires travel to industry shows, lab visits for training, occasional visits to top customers and potential customers.
- Annual travel expectations would be roughly 35%.
