Catering Operations Manager

Levy is seeking a highly skilled Catering Manager to join our team. As a Catering Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our catering facilities, managing catering functions, and coordinating with our sales and culinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all catering services meet or exceed guest expectations
- Present Levy catering services to guests in a professional and engaging manner
- Communicate client needs through timely and detailed written and verbal communications
- Develop location-specific food and wine knowledge
- Initiate contact with clients to secure food and beverage selections
- Hold team members accountable for delivering exceptional guest service
- Ensure show quality standards are maintained at all times
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, guests, and team members
- Regularly obtain feedback from clients and guests to improve operations
- Support and communicate Company initiatives
- Respond to and assist with departmental guest service issues
- Execute all menus, promotions, and programs as outlined by the Director of Catering
- Achieve daily sales and assigned cost goals
- Achieve assigned budget goals
- Employ good safety and sanitation practices
- Follow and enforce responsible alcohol service policies
- Execute required daily reporting in a timely manner
- Complete required department reports and comply with information at month-end closing
- Ensure team members adhere to Levy Company guidelines
- Ensure the continual process of revenue development
- Promote the sale of profitable Levy services
- Prepare account forecasts and analysis of group sales
- Ensure the complete billing for client services and receipt of payments
- Use performance management tools to provide guidance and feedback to team members
- Promote a cooperative work climate, maximizing productivity and morale
- Conduct regularly scheduled meetings to ensure open communication
- Interview, hire, train, and develop team members according to Levy guidelines
- Display a positive attitude towards team members
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a food and beverage operational position
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management is preferred
- High level of computer literacy
- Passion for hospitality, food, and retail
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
