Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated ParaProfessional to join our team at West Ada School District. As a ParaProfessional, you will provide essential support to our elementary teachers in overcrowded classrooms, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment for our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to students, including tutoring and academic assistance
  • Assist teachers with lesson planning, grading, and classroom management
  • Prepare and maintain classroom materials, including bulletin boards and exhibits
  • Supervise classroom activities in the absence of a teacher
  • Perform other related duties as required
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Classroom experience preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced classroom environment, with frequent interruptions and deadlines. The successful candidate must be able to maintain a high level of energy and productivity throughout the day.
