About the General Manager Position:

The General Manager is a pivotal role within Papa John's, responsible for overseeing all aspects of a restaurant's operations to ensure the delivery of high-quality products and exceptional customer service, ultimately driving restaurant profitability.

This position requires strong leadership, decision-making skills, and the ability to inspire pride and accountability in the team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Quality Assurance: Create a culture of quality among team members, guaranteeing that every product meets Papa John's standards and fulfills customer orders accurately.
  • Customer Service: Address customer concerns promptly and professionally, gather feedback, share it with the team, and use it to enhance the restaurant's operations and foster brand loyalty.
  • Team Development: Train and communicate quality standards to the team, recruit customer-oriented staff, maintain appropriate staffing levels, provide necessary training, ensure compliance with uniform standards, set performance expectations, and conduct performance reviews.
  • Operational Excellence: Manage sales and profit goals, deliver exceptional customer service, boost check averages through product training, seek additional sales opportunities through innovative marketing strategies, and maintain cost control.
  • Restaurant Maintenance: Ensure the restaurant's cleanliness, functionality, safety, and security, manage inventory levels, and oversee equipment maintenance and repairs when needed.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Serv-Safe/Local or State Food Service Certification preferred
  • Two years of restaurant management or supervisory experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license, insurance, and reliable vehicle
