Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Drainage Engineer to join our team at DRMP. As a key member of our transportation design group, you will be responsible for applying, planning, and designing roadway projects that meet our clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engineering Analysis and Design: Provide expert analysis and design of stormwater management solutions for transportation projects.
  • Project Management: Oversee and manage design and production of construction details, plans, specifications, and estimates.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with clients, subconsultant partners, technical staff, and managers across multiple disciplines to develop quality deliverables within schedule and budgetary requirements.
  • Team Leadership: Direct and mentor less-experienced support staff.
  • Investigations and Planning: Conduct engineering investigations and planning work by completing well-defined tasks, including collection and analysis of data, routine calculations, and evaluation of feasibility of alternate solutions.
  • Business Development: Support business development efforts, including proposal pursuit efforts.
  • Client Relationships: Help build relationships with key staff of clients, potential clients, teaming partners, and contractors.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's of Science in Civil Engineering.
  • Professional Registration: Must have Professional Engineering Registration with the State.
  • Experience: 10-15 plus years of relevant, progressive transportation design experience.
  • Drainage Experience: Demonstrated knowledge and application of DOT design standards and specifications.
  • Skills: Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines, detail-oriented team player with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment.
  • Driver's License: Valid driver's license with approved/acceptable driving history required.
