Responsibilities
  • Drainage Plan Development: Prepare comprehensive drainage plans and reports for transportation projects, ensuring compliance with FDOT drainage design criteria.
  • Collaboration and Training: Collaborate with other Drainage staff on drainage analyses and train, mentor, and oversee the completion and accuracy of work performed by junior Drainage Department Staff.
  • Project Management: Serve in Engineer-of-Record and/or Deputy Project Manager roles, depending on project specifics, and communicate effectively with internal team members, subconsultants, and clients.
  • Client Relationships: Meet and build strong working relationships with clients and permitting agencies, and assist with the development of marketing and project pursuit materials.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Experience: 4+ years of relevant FDOT drainage design experience, with a strong desire to be a key contributor in an outstanding team of industry-leading professionals.
  • Licensure: Florida PE license preferred.
