Position Overview:

The Media Planning Supervisor is responsible for delivering exceptional service to clients by developing, implementing, and overseeing media strategies that optimize investment across diverse channels to effectively reach target audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead media planning initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute comprehensive strategies across digital, television, audio, social media, programmatic, and other platforms.
  • Oversee the development of tactical plans, provide strategic recommendations, and negotiate effectively within assigned channels.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, internal teams, and leadership.
  • Drive strategic planning efforts, including the creation of presentations, budget management, and audience targeting.
  • Utilize data analytics to guide media purchases and channel selection.
  • Establish guidelines and budget distributions to ensure effective resource allocation.
  • Manage daily campaign operations, ensuring that all initiatives meet established KPIs.
  • Support the formulation of strategic approaches and experience design by delivering innovative channel ideas while linking them to historical performance and market opportunities.
  • Supervise and mentor Associates and Senior Associates, fostering their professional development.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, ideally in marketing, advertising, communications, business, sociology, or consumer insights.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in media planning across various channels.
  • Strong background in digital media is highly desirable.
  • A resourceful, inquisitive, and driven individual capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with media systems/platforms such as Kantar, MOAT, Prisma, and ComScore is advantageous.

Compensation: The anticipated compensation range for this position is between $73,500 and $115,500 annually, based on skills, qualifications, and experience.
