We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mobile Healthcare Paramedic to join our team at Spaulding Hospital–Boston & Cambridge. As a Mobile Healthcare Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and customer service in a variety of settings, including traditional and non-traditional environments.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and manage patients under the Mobile Integrated Healthcare program, providing primary care and/or advanced life support as needed.
- Interact with patients, families, and healthcare providers to facilitate continuity of care and ensure seamless transitions.
- Develop and implement strategies to address challenges and improve patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure understanding and adherence to treatment plans.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports, as required.
- Associate degree in emergency medical services, healthcare, or business administration, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a field paramedic, with a strong track record of providing high-quality patient care and customer service.
- EMT I/C or equivalent instructor experience, with a focus on ACLS, PALS, or related pediatric courses, AMLS, CPR, and MA EMT-P Certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification, with a strong understanding of healthcare provider CPR and ACLS protocols.
- Valid driver's license with no driving violations, and a driving record in compliance with department policy.
- Mobile Healthcare Paramedic experience, with a focus on FCCS or equivalent experience, IFT, or Critical Care experience.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Ability to think critically and make sound decisions in emergency situations.
