Job Title: Mobile Healthcare Paramedic (Per Diem)

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled and dedicated Mobile Healthcare Paramedic to join our team on a per diem basis. As a Mobile Healthcare Paramedic, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and facilitating continuity of care for patients under the Mobile Integrated Healthcare program.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess and interact with patients to provide primary care and/or advanced life support, including medical evaluation, treatment, and stabilization of critically ill and injured patients.
  • Facilitate continuity of care by interacting with patients' physicians and healthcare facilities.
  • Respond to patients' needs by performing home visits, assessments, and treatments in accordance with MIH protocols and procedures.
  • Function in both traditional and non-traditional settings, providing ALS care activities and non-emergency care with a long-term focus.
  • Effectively communicate and work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Follow operational flow and procedures efficiently and effectively to maximize utilization.
  • Assist in the development of processes and education materials pertaining to Mobile Integrated Healthcare.
  • Function as a facilitator and educator for clinical programs, including continuing education for field crews and new hires.
  • Drive performance management, ensuring delivery of high-quality patient care and customer service.
  • Prepare written reports as required.
  • Maintain effective scene management/leadership, following ICS protocols.
Requirements:
  • Associate degree in emergency medical services, healthcare, or business administration, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a field paramedic.
  • EMT I/C or equivalent instructor experience.
  • Instructor certification in ACLS, PALS, or related pediatric course, AMLS, CPR.
  • MA EMT-P Certification.
  • ACLS Certification.
  • Healthcare Provider CPR certification.
  • Valid driver's license with no driving violations.
  • Driving record in compliance with department policy.
  • Mobile Healthcare Paramedic experience preferred.
  • FCCS or equivalent experience preferred.
  • IFT or Critical Care experience preferred.
