The Recruiting Coordinator plays a crucial role in executing strategic recruitment and staffing initiatives aimed at attracting a diverse array of qualified candidates across multiple manufacturing sites in North America. This position collaborates closely with HR Generalists and hiring managers to source and evaluate talent, including conducting initial phone screenings for suitable applicants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate and participate in role intake discussions with HR personnel and hiring managers to develop and refine job descriptions.
  • Review applications and assist in the selection process for qualified candidates.
  • Identify and apply effective recruitment techniques and strategies tailored to the specific role, industry benchmarks, and organizational needs.
  • Engage in job fairs and recruitment events to promote open positions.
  • Coordinate interview schedules between candidates, HR staff, and hiring managers.
  • Analyze the passive candidate market to identify potential recruits for available positions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Adhere to all company safety protocols and practices.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Self-motivated and capable of taking initiative.
  • Strong time management abilities with a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all organizational levels.
  • Proficient in or quick to learn applicant tracking systems and other recruitment software.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of experience in recruitment within a manufacturing context.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • Familiarity with HRIS and/or Applicant Tracking software is advantageous.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer.
  • Capability to lift up to 15 pounds regularly.
  • Willingness to work in environments with chemicals while using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
