About the Role: As a Marketing Communications Intern, you will gain invaluable experience in the field of marketing and communications. This role offers practical exposure to inbound marketing strategies, content calendar management, CRM systems, and marketing automation tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate engaging blog content, including articles and case studies, for our corporate and property websites to drive traffic through search engines and social media.
  • Develop and refine resources for our website Learning Centers, such as eBooks and fact sheets.
  • Support website updates, focusing on blog entries and landing pages.
  • Conduct keyword research and enhance website content to boost organic search visibility.
  • Create and design email marketing campaigns for corporate and property initiatives.
  • Compile and distribute monthly email newsletters, including content creation and design.
  • Assist in analyzing and reporting on marketing efforts.
  • Contribute to various projects and additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Experience in content production, email marketing, or website management for an organization is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Proficient in English, with a strong understanding of grammar and style; familiarity with AP style is a plus.
  • Knowledgeable about social media platforms, particularly Instagram and TikTok.
  • Access to a reliable computer and internet connection, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Skills:

  • Exceptional writing and editing capabilities.
  • Proficient in online research and web navigation.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and seek guidance when necessary.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Additional Considerations:

  • Experience with WordPress, HubSpot, Asana, and Google Workspace is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud or Canva is a plus.
  • Understanding of inbound and content marketing strategies.
  • Experience with Digital Asset Management systems is beneficial.

Work Schedule: The work schedule will be determined upon hiring, with flexibility expected. A minimum commitment of 30 hours per week is required.
