Certified Nursing Assistant

Bridgewell is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide exceptional support to individuals with developmental and psychiatric disabilities. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personalized support and assistance with daily living activities, including grooming, bathing, feeding, and toileting, while maintaining the dignity and comfort of our clients.
- Monitor and report any changes in client condition or behavior to the Program Director, ensuring prompt attention to their needs.
- Administer medications according to established protocols and regulations, ensuring the highest level of care and safety.
- Transport clients to medical appointments, recreational activities, and other outings, promoting socialization and community engagement.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of client progress, including daily and monthly notes, and participate in ISP meetings to ensure comprehensive care planning.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized service plans, promoting client autonomy and independence.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in areas such as CPR, First Aid, and MAP regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree may be substituted for CNA certification based on experience.
- Current Nursing Assistant Certification in Massachusetts and active certified status.
- Minimum one year of experience working with individuals with developmental or psychiatric disabilities.
- Valid driver's license and one year of driving experience.
