Nursing Assistant or Home Health Care Provider

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide to join our team at The Arbors at Dracut. As a member of our care team, you will provide high-quality personal care services to our residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care services to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, in a professional and caring manner.
- Document all care provided, including any changes in a resident's condition or needs.
- Review and prepare shift change logs, summarizing pertinent information for incoming staff.
- Inform a licensed nurse of any changes in a resident's condition or needs.
- Answer emergency call systems and respond appropriately.
- Report all incidents to a licensed nurse and incoming staff.
- Follow proper procedures for the Self-Administered Medication Management system.
- Assess residents' capabilities to determine needs for additional assistance.
- Assist with housekeeping duties, including resident laundry, according to schedule or as needed.
- Perform dining room duties and assist with serving residents.
- Assist relatives, guests, and visitors as needed.
- Assist with activities programs.
- Maintain a positive, professional, calm image and environment.
- Take a team approach to performing duties.
- Complete all required annual in-service training.
- Adhere to all OSHA regulations and safety procedures when bending, lifting, and using equipment.
Requirements:
- Must be currently certified as a nursing assistant or have successfully completed the certified home health aide program.
- Must understand the physical and emotional needs of elders, enjoy working with them, show understanding and patience, and perform duties required to enhance the resident's environment and quality of life.
