Position Summary:
The Certified Nursing Assistant will deliver exceptional support to individuals with developmental and psychiatric disabilities.

Work Schedule:
Sunday 5:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Monday 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (14 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist individuals with daily living activities, including grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, and toileting.
  • Provide personal care such as monitoring vital signs and maintaining comfort and dignity.
  • Observe and report any changes in residents' conditions to the Program Director.
  • Ensure compliance with DDS, CARF, and all relevant regulatory standards.
  • Support individuals in accessing medical, clinical, and financial services as needed.
  • Transport individuals to medical and recreational activities.
  • Maintain accurate progress notes and participate in individual service plan meetings.
  • Administer medications in accordance with MAP regulations.
  • Maintain required training certifications, including CPR/FA and OSHA.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma and at least one year of experience working with individuals with developmental or psychiatric disabilities.
  • Completion of a Massachusetts-approved Nursing Assistant Certification course or equivalent.
  • Current Nursing Assistant Certification in Massachusetts is required.
  • A bachelor's degree may substitute for CNA certification based on relevant experience.

Skills Required:
Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent organizational abilities, and problem-solving capabilities. A valid driver's license and a minimum of one year of driving experience are also necessary.

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks that may include climbing stairs. Normal vision and hearing capabilities are required.
