Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc. (SGA) is seeking a Risk Consultant for a CONTRACT opportunity with a leading Financial Services organization.

Key Responsibilities:
As a member of the Custody Network Management team, you will play a crucial role in managing the Firm's extensive network of financial market infrastructures and sub-custodians across multiple markets. This team is integral to the Firm's Custody product organization, focusing on strategic oversight and future investments. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating local deliverables with the Firm's proprietary custody network to collect information for addressing examination findings.
  • Assisting Network Management in defining the future model for oversight requirements related to Financial Market Infrastructures (FMIs).
  • Creating and submitting timely updates on governance progress, identifying key issues for escalation.
  • Monitoring, tracking, and escalating issues that require remediation.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Third-Party Management, particularly in remediation management, process enhancement, governance, and technology within a complex global organization.
  • Experience focusing on remediation management within Third-Party Management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong organizational and analytical capabilities, able to work effectively both independently and as part of a global team.
  • Good understanding of Financial Market Structures, particularly Central Securities Depositories (CSDs) and Central Counterparties (CCPs).
  • Basic knowledge of custody operations and custody flows.
  • Solid grasp of global firms' risk management approaches.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A graduate degree in economics, finance, or financial risk management is preferred.
