About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Director, National Ad Sales & Partnerships to join our team at Sinclair Inc. This role will lead the efforts in driving demand for our properties through strategic relationships with ad sales partners and directly with clients and agencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day account management with ad sales partners, agencies, and clients for national advertising opportunities.
  • Drive incremental revenue growth with ad sales partners to ensure revenue target achievement.
  • Work closely with ad sales marketing and planning to ensure campaigns are properly executed and delivered.
  • Be the primary point of contact for agency and client direct relationships.
  • Assist in the creation of opportunities based on marketplace knowledge and product expertise.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 8-10+ Years of Experience in Sports, Sports Media, and Partnership Development and Management
  • Prior success in driving new business/incremental revenue strategies with a focus on linear and streaming advertising sales.
  • Existing network of contacts in the Sports and Sports Media landscape.
  • Strong understanding of linear, digital, and multi-platform ad sales approach.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to develop and maintain working relationships internally and externally.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and willingness to learn other proprietary software.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to work as a member of a team and individually.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed and work evenings or weekends for client meetings, industry events, or other business-related activities.
  • Proficiency in Wide Orbit suite of products preferred.
  • Prior experience in local sports media landscape preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary compensation range for this role is $165,000 - $190,000. This role is eligible to participate in the Sales Incentive Program (SIC). Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, geographic location, and the ability to achieve 100% OTE. Full-time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental, and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, sick leave, vacation time, personal time, parental leave, and employee stock purchase plan.
