As a Sales Development Representative with UnitedHealth Group, you will play a pivotal role in helping people live healthier lives and making the healthcare system work better for everyone. In this inbound call sales role, you will receive a competitive base salary and bonuses based on your sales performance. Your primary responsibility will be to consult customers on their insurance needs and match the correct coverages, products, and benefits.

Compensation and Benefits: A Rewarding Package

Your total compensation is determined by your ability to work hard, sell, and deliver a great customer experience. As a licensed agent, you can earn an average first-year annual earnings of $60,000 through a combination of base pay and sales commissions. Top performers can earn up to $80,000 or more. You will also receive a sign-on bonus of up to $3,000 for external candidates. Plus, enjoy a range of benefits, including 18 days of accrued Paid Time Off, 8 Paid Holidays, Medical Plan options, and more.

Key Responsibilities: Delivering Exceptional Results

As an Inbound Call Sales Specialist, you will mainly handle inbound calling, answering incoming phone calls from prospective members, and identifying their needs. You will ask appropriate questions, listen actively, and document required information in computer systems. Using your knowledge of the product portfolio, you will assess the distinct needs of different prospects, explain the differences between various products, and assist the prospect member in selecting a product that best meets their unique needs.

Requirements: A Strong Foundation for Success

To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree, which must be obtained prior to start of employment. You should also have experience with Microsoft Office products and be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship. Work or volunteer experience in sales, customer service, healthcare, or health insurance is preferred.
