Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Material Management Specialist to join our team at Cell Ready. As a Material Management Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain, from receiving and inspecting materials to maintaining accurate inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and segregate incoming materials, maintaining accurate inventory records to support manufacturing requirements
  • Comply with safe handling and storage requirements, cGMP/ISO, site & corporate policies, and environmental/other related regulations
  • Coordinate and monitor all inbound and outbound shipments, including detailed packing and tracking of cold chain shipments per site procedures, IATA/DOT, and applicable regulations
  • Review minimum and maximum stock levels and produce purchase requisitions to maintain the stocking level of core materials
  • Perform cycle counting and inventory audits as required
  • Assist in authoring/revising SOPs related to the job function as needed
  • Participate in investigations, CAPAs, and Change Controls
  • Follow instructions outlined in departmental SOPs
  • Availability to work on weekends or in rotating shifts if needed
  • Lift up to 40 pounds unassisted and up to 60 pounds with assistance
  • Work within established safety procedures

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma degree required
  • 1 to 4 years in the Pharmaceutical Industry with experience in materials management supply chain, cold chain, logistics, distribution, other related experience is highly preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • High proficiency in Excel is a plus
  • Experience in the Pharma/Biopharmaceutical or related industry in support of a cGMP-compliant manufacturing environment preferred
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) preferred
  • Knowledge of Good Documentation Practices (GDP) preferred
