Position Overview:
The Lincoln Electric Company—Kaliburn location is in search of a seasoned, proactive Manufacturing Engineer with a background in capital projects and CNC machining to support our rapid growth.

Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in project management activities and progressively assume larger project management roles.
- Evaluate, develop, and document manufacturing processes to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Identify opportunities for capital improvement projects; prepare capital proposals and oversee projects, budgets, and timelines.
- Actively seek out high waste activities and lead initiatives to minimize waste in the machine shop.
- Assess opportunities for improvements against company objectives for both existing platforms and new initiatives; validate feasibility, supervise implementation, and evaluate effectiveness.
- Facilitate team-driven activities related to continuous improvement, including Kaizen events, 5S+1, Process Flow, and Cost Improvements.
- Lead small groups of production and technical employees to identify root causes of issues and apply problem-solving tools to mitigate risks.
- Develop and refine manufacturing plans based on capacity and resource utilization.
- Create standard work procedures and instructions for manufacturing processes, ensuring proper documentation for all new equipment.
- Design experiments to gather data for statistical analysis.
- Conduct statistical analysis of existing or proposed manufacturing processes to ensure objectives can be reliably met.
- Perform process failure mode and effects analysis (PFMEA) to assess the reliability of new and existing manufacturing processes.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Proven project management experience with a track record of completing projects within scope, on time, and within budget.
- Strong communication skills, capable of engaging with all organizational levels, both verbally and in writing.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and mechanical aptitude.
- Experience in a CNC manufacturing environment and possession of project management certification is preferred.
