Wholesale Customer Service Representative

Position Overview

As a vital member of our team, the Wholesale Customer Service Representative plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our clients. This full-time position focuses on providing support to professional chefs, restaurant proprietors, and culinary enthusiasts at our front counter.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist customers with their purchases, ensuring a seamless shopping experience.
  • Engage proactively with vendors and clients to facilitate special orders and resolve inquiries.
  • Handle customer complaints with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Process refunds and exchanges accurately.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized workspace.
  • Ensure accurate transactions by accepting payments and providing receipts.
  • Balance the cash register and prepare sales reports.
  • Occasionally visit clients to strengthen relationships.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong analytical abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Dynamic and energetic personality.
  • Experience in the foodservice industry is advantageous.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt quickly to new challenges.
  • Proficient in computer usage.

Education and Experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent GED.
  • Prior experience in cashiering and customer service is required.
  • Proficiency in English is essential; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

Background Requirements

  • Successful completion of a background check.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
