About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Specialist to join our team at Macs Adventure Limited. As an Adventure Sales Specialist, you will play a key role in driving sales growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Adventure Sales
    • Follow up on warm inquiries and build rapport with customers to understand their needs.
    • Prepare customized quotes and ensure they meet the needs of customers.
    • Convert quotes to bookings and build a loyal customer base.
    • Organize and document customer trip details to the highest standard in our CRM system.
    • Achieve individual sales targets and provide in-depth knowledge of Macs Adventure tours to prospective customers.
  • Managing Customer Needs
    • Work with our internal operations team and suppliers to ensure customer trips meet their needs.
    • Support customers with pre, during, and post-trip questions, amendments, and challenges.
    • Connect with customers pre and post-trip to manage expectations, gather feedback, and drive continuous product improvement.
  • Teamwork
    • Be an active and positive member of the team.
    • Support colleagues and contribute to team calls and meetings.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of sales experience with a proven track record.
  • Passion for adventure travel and a deep understanding of the Macs product.
  • Experience selling to the US market, with a plus for Canada.
  • Direct-to-consumer sales experience is a plus.
  • Excellent sales skills, communication skills, and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving skills, planning and organizational skills, and IT skills, including experience with CRM systems.
