Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY


Execute opening and closing responsibilities, which include preparing necessary supplies and equipment, ensuring cleanliness of all areas, securing premises, and more.

Organize, stock, and uphold workstations. Process orders through the cash register system and handle customer payments. Take customer orders, log them in the MICROS system, and prepare food and coffee drinks. Ensure that all appliances (e.g., coffee machines) are operated at the correct times. Clear coffee cart areas and tables. Wash dishes, utensils, work surfaces, tables, and equipment throughout the day. Obtain the necessary change for anticipated business levels. Count cash at the end of the shift, complete required cashier reports, address any discrepancies, deposit receipts, and secure cash.


Adhere to all company and safety policies and procedures; report incidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management; and complete safety training and certifications.

Maintain a clean and professional appearance in uniform, safeguard confidential information, and protect company assets.

Greet and acknowledge all guests in accordance with company standards, anticipate and respond to guests' service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and express gratitude to guests sincerely.

Communicate with others using clear and professional language. Foster and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, and collaborate with the team to achieve common objectives. Ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards. Read and visually verify information in various formats (e.g., small print). Conduct visual inspections of tools, equipment, or machines (e.g., to identify defects). Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or throughout the entire shift. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance. Manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Navigate through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces. Ascend and descend stairs and/or service ramps. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education:
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Related Work Experience:

Supervisory Experience:
No supervisory experience.
