Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY


Perform essential opening and closing tasks, which include organizing necessary supplies and equipment, ensuring cleanliness of all areas, and securing premises.

Prepare, stock, and manage workstations effectively. Process customer orders through the cash register system and handle payments. Record orders in the MICROS system and craft food and coffee beverages with precision. Ensure that all appliances, such as coffee machines, are operated correctly at designated times. Maintain cleanliness in coffee cart areas and dining tables. Wash dishes, utensils, and equipment throughout the day. Manage cash requirements based on anticipated business levels. Conduct end-of-shift cash counts, complete necessary cashier reports, address any discrepancies, and secure cash deposits.


Adhere to all company policies regarding safety and security; report any incidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to management; and complete all required safety training and certifications.

Maintain a professional appearance and uphold confidentiality of proprietary information while safeguarding company assets.

Greet and acknowledge all guests in accordance with company standards, proactively address service needs, assist guests with disabilities, and express gratitude to guests sincerely.

Communicate clearly and professionally with others. Foster positive working relationships with colleagues and support the team in achieving shared objectives. Ensure compliance with quality standards and expectations. Read and verify information in various formats (e.g., small print). Conduct visual inspections of tools and equipment to identify any defects. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or throughout the entire shift. Lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance. Manipulate objects of various sizes and weights, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Navigate through narrow or elevated spaces and move up and down stairs or service ramps. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Perform other reasonable job duties as assigned by Supervisors.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education:
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Related Work Experience:
No prior experience required.

Supervisory Experience:
No supervisory experience required.

License or Certification:
None
