Position Summary

We seek candidates with exceptional leadership abilities and a genuine passion for mentoring and empowering others. As a Culinary Operations Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in our kitchen operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:
  1. Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures related to food service.
  2. Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of the kitchen.
  3. Manage weekly procurement of food and supplies.
  4. Conduct and manage all kitchen inspections.
  5. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment and work areas.
  6. Supervise food preparation and presentation.
  7. Enforce kitchen safety protocols at all times.
  8. Train, supervise, and evaluate kitchen staff.
  9. Facilitate monthly staff meetings, including safety training.
  10. Participate in all required site meetings and training sessions.
  11. Supervise culinary program participants.
  12. Manage the culinary training program, including teaching and supervising practical sessions.
  13. Ensure the culinary program meets all accreditation standards.
  14. Utilize the company timekeeping system for attendance.
  15. Perform essential job functions with or without accommodations.
  16. Complete all mandatory training as per company policy.
  17. Communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
  18. Report any workplace injuries to the appropriate personnel.
  19. Notify supervisors of any policy violations or ethical concerns.
  20. Immediately report unsafe conditions to management.
  21. Demonstrate organizational skills and effective communication for promotion eligibility.
  22. Adhere to all relevant policies and procedures.
  23. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of five years in public food service with at least two years in a supervisory role. Experience relevant to culinary program certification is preferred.

EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent; additional education as required for culinary program certification.
