- Maintain accurate records required by regulatory agencies concerning sanitation and food subsidies.
- Address and resolve any complaints related to food quality or service.
- Manage food and equipment inventories, ensuring proper record-keeping.
- Schedule and receive food and beverage deliveries, verifying the quality and quantity of products received.
- Assign food preparation personnel to optimize resource use and ensure timely meal preparation.
- Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations regarding food preparation and service.
- Establish performance standards for staff and customer service excellence.
- Organize staff schedules and assign specific duties to team members.
- Review menus and analyze recipes to assess labor and overhead costs, determining appropriate pricing for menu items.
Staff Development:
- Implement and direct training programs for staff, addressing personnel issues as they arise.
- Evaluate employee performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Assess staffing requirements and recruit new team members through various channels.
Financial Oversight:
- Monitor budgets and payroll records, ensuring all financial transactions are authorized and within budget.
- Coordinate the use of facilities for events, negotiating details with members and guests.
Qualifications: A minimum of two years of experience in a similar role, such as Server or Server Captain, within a high-end culinary environment is required.
