Job Summary

The Baptist Health System KY & IN is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Chemical Dependency Therapist to join our team in the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). As a key member of our treatment team, the successful candidate will provide clinical treatment and oversight to patients struggling with substance abuse and addiction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide initial assessment and consultation to patients prior to program admission
  • Deliver direct therapeutic group services and individual consultation and services as needed
  • Develop and maintain treatment plans, screening tools, and daily progress notes
  • Facilitate referrals for continued care and collaborate with support staff to ensure seamless program operations
  • Participate in regular staffing with medical providers and treatment team members to ensure high-quality care

Requirements

  • Compliance with Baptist Health's infectious disease and vaccination policies
  • Adherence to BHS' mandatory vaccination policies for influenza and COVID (unless reasonable accommodations are needed under applicable law)
