Position Overview:

We are looking for a dependable and skilled Retail Operations Leader to join our team and manage the daily functions of our grocery store. The Retail Operations Leader will be tasked with supervising and guiding a team of staff members, ensuring that all operations are conducted efficiently and to the highest standards while delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and communication abilities and thrive in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily operations of the grocery store, including leading and mentoring a team of employees.
  • Ensure that all tasks are performed efficiently and meet the highest standards, including maintaining a clean and organized shopping environment and adhering to safety regulations.
  • Develop strategies to enhance customer service, boost store sales, and improve profitability.
  • Address customer needs, resolve complaints, and ensure prompt service delivery.
  • Provide outstanding customer service, assisting shoppers with inquiries and addressing concerns.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, including placing orders and restocking as necessary.
  • Complete daily financial and operational tasks, such as reconciling cash registers and preparing shift reports.
  • Forecast staffing requirements and devise a recruitment strategy to ensure optimal staffing across all areas.
  • Recruit and train new team members as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role or as a shift supervisor.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage a high-volume workload effectively.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and software, including Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems.
