Job Overview:

Essential Technical Expertise:
  • Certification as a Google Professional Cloud Architect and/or Google Professional Data Engineer.
  • Strong understanding of foundational cloud principles.
  • Proficient in data conceptualization.
Key Requirements:
  • Proven experience in deploying technological solutions, with a focus on cloud architecture design, assessment, and research.
  • Hands-on expertise in application architecture, emphasizing the development of scalable and dependable software systems utilizing modern software stacks and DevOps methodologies.
  • Client-facing role requiring the ability to manage client relationships and project deliverables.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Solid understanding of cloud foundational concepts.
  • Experience in developing applications using Kubernetes and container technologies, particularly within the Google Cloud environment.
  • Background in constructing hybrid-cloud solutions leveraging VM and containerization technologies such as VMware, OpenStack, Docker, Kubernetes, Istio, and Anthos.
  • Familiarity with automation tools, including Terraform or Google Cloud Deployment Manager.
  • Designing secure, scalable, and high-performance cloud infrastructure solutions utilizing GCP services like Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, and Kubernetes Engine.
  • Experience with GCP cloud services, including organization policies, networking, IAM, virtual machines, databases, BigQuery, Kubernetes, and containers.
  • Establishing best practices for security, identity and access management (IAM), and cost efficiency.
Responsibilities and Expectations:
  • Design - Serve as a key IT team member responsible for Google Cloud architecture and standards development.
  • Develop strategies for configuring foundational elements.
  • Lead initial discussions and analyses of cloud concepts, assisting in the creation of proof-of-concepts with full team support.
  • Collaborate with integration partners to establish seamless integration.
  • Assess potential solutions based on both technical and commercial criteria to meet established cost and service requirements.
  • Oversee the leadership and delivery of project-based assignments encompassing system architecture, proof-of-concept, and deployment services.
  • Exhibit strong customer relationship skills, guiding clients through complex projects that include estimating, scoping, and drafting effective statements of work to set clear expectations and mitigate risks.
  • Provide guidance for the installation and configuration of software packages as necessary to meet business needs.
  • Develop and implement user cases.
  • Formulate strategies for go-live support and stabilization.
  • Assist in reviewing performance and capacity requests, as well as designing solution resolutions.
