Position Overview:
The Senior Solutions Architect plays a pivotal role in the Technology Group, directly reporting to the Product Manager of the Work Management and Mobile Solutions Team. This role is essential for crafting technology solutions that align with core business operations by assessing user requirements, organizational objectives, budgets, and existing systems to establish technical specifications and standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate clear communication regarding IT initiatives, processes, and solutions within the IT division.
  • Act as the Solutions Architect for IT, ensuring that project outcomes not only meet but exceed client expectations.
  • Drive strategic communication that enhances IT and business integration of technology, leading to improved value realization and return on investment.

Core Duties:
  • Develop a comprehensive solution architecture framework that supports product offerings for essential business functions, ensuring coherence with other products and the overall IT strategy.
  • Provide leadership and guidance on application design and development, serving as a technical expert. Define system and application architecture while anticipating and resolving potential issues.
  • Document and maintain system processes, identifying common technical challenges and recommending solutions to the product team. Gain a thorough understanding of customer business and technical requirements, conveying key insights to the product team.
  • Oversee all facets of SAP system solution implementations within the designated product group.
  • Support the strategic direction of the broader IT organization by contributing insights to the strategic vision and identifying innovative technologies that enhance customer experience.
  • Establish strong partnerships with vendors, setting clear expectations and negotiating agreements to support product requirements.
  • Coordinate external benchmarking and best practice initiatives with other business units.
  • Contribute to specific projects as directed by the Group Product Manager.

Qualifications:Essential Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in the information technology sector or an industry reliant on technical expertise.
  • At least 4 years of experience in solution architecture with a proven track record in designing solutions for core business functions.
  • 4 or more years of experience customizing SAP, preferably within a Work Management module.
  • Experience in designing secure software solutions for large enterprises, including New Technologies, SAP Work Management, Analytics/Big Data, and Cloud solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience in a leadership role throughout project lifecycles.
  • Proven ability to support large, complex projects, addressing challenges to ensure alignment with IT and business objectives.
  • Strong capability to align project solutions with the overall corporate enterprise architecture.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders, including peers, vendors, and leadership, while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Master's degree in a technology-related field.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., SAP Technical certifications, AWS, Certified Solution Architect).
  • Understanding of security processes and standards related to multi-tier cloud or hybrid applications, particularly in regulated industries.
  • Experience with Work Management processes in SAP and Salesforce integrated with MuleSoft.
  • Knowledge of utility and regulatory business practices.
