Job Overview

PROLIM is currently seeking a Help Desk Technical Support 2 for our esteemed client.

Role Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for resolving technical issues and addressing inquiries via telephone, providing support for both internal and external customers regarding computer hardware, software, network, and telecommunications systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, identify, isolate, and analyze technical problems using historical database records.
  • Route calls to specialized product line experts when necessary.
  • Maintain and update records and tracking databases to ensure accurate documentation.
  • Notify management of recurring issues and patterns that may require attention.

Qualifications:

Applicants should possess an AA or a related 2-year technical degree along with at least 1 year of relevant experience. An equivalent combination of an Associate's Degree and 1 year of experience is acceptable. A relevant professional certification may substitute for the degree requirement.

Special Considerations:

This position requires availability for all shifts, including 1st shift (7:00 am - 3:30 pm), 2nd shift (3:30 pm - 11:30 pm), and 3rd shift (11:30 pm - 7:30 am), with rotating weekends. The specific shift will be determined post-training.

This role is primarily remote, with no fixed schedule for onsite presence.

Essential Skills:

  • Experience in supporting various applications, including MS Office products, O365, VPN applications, and other business and engineering software.
  • Proficient in providing technical support via telephone and/or chat.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for Windows client systems.
  • Experience working in a remote environment.

Desired Attributes:
