Job Overview

PROLIM is actively seeking a Technical Support Specialist II to assist our esteemed clients.

Role Summary:

The selected candidate will be responsible for addressing technical issues and providing assistance via telephone for both internal and external customers regarding computer hardware, software, network, and telecommunications systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems using historical data records.
  • Direct calls to specialized product line experts when necessary.
  • Maintain and update records and tracking systems effectively.
  • Notify management of recurring issues and trends in problems.

Qualifications:

A minimum of an Associate's Degree in a relevant field along with at least one year of related experience is required. Alternatively, a relevant professional certification may be accepted in lieu of the degree.

Special Considerations:

This position requires flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends, with a determination of shift after training. The role is primarily remote, with no fixed schedule for onsite presence.

Preferred Experience:

  • Proficiency in supporting applications such as MS Office, O365, and VPN applications.
  • Experience in providing technical support via phone and chat.
  • Familiarity with troubleshooting Windows operating systems.
  • Prior experience working in a remote capacity.

Essential Skills:

The hiring manager is particularly interested in candidates with strong customer service skills, call center experience, and technical support expertise, especially in Windows environments.
