Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Cayuga Health System. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive and compassionate care to our patients, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality patient care, adhering to established standards and protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments, identify patient needs, and provide appropriate interventions.
- Administer medications, treatments, and other interventions as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient progress, reporting any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Active New York Nursing license (out-of-state nurses are eligible to apply)
- Completion of an accredited LPN program
- BLS certification (new hires have the opportunity to obtain during introductory period)
